It's official! Skipping breakfast is harmful to your long-term health!

According to Swedish researchers, a study of 27 participants found those who missed breakfast or who ate poorly in the morning during adolescence increased their risk of diabetes and obesity by a frightening 68% in adulthood compared to those who ate a more substantial breakfast. Metabolic syndrome is the medical term for a combination of diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity, which can cause increased risk of heart disease and stroke.
